Background
HolySoup developed HolyMac to fill a gap in the frozen food aisle – a protein-rich mac’n’cheese that actually tastes good. However, to make an impact, it needed more than just nutritional value. The product required an expression that showcases its identity and justifies its place.
The Mission
Our task was to create a packaging design that conveys everything in three seconds. It needed to feel appealing, nutritious, and straightforward. The design had to stand out among both quick snacks and sporty protein products—without appearing cheap or clinical.
The Solution
We developed a distinct color coding for each flavor and highlighted the protein content prominently on the front. A large white bowl filled with creamy macaroni evokes appetite and assures comfort. Icons and succinct messages quickly communicate nutritional information and preparation details.
The layout is designed to guide—drawing the eye to where it needs to be. The tone is informative yet inviting. All this ensures the product feels like an obvious choice, whether you’re training or simply looking for a reliable dinner option.
Results
HolyMac received a design that makes it easy to find, understand, and desire. It feels like food—not just a promise of protein. A product that does more than fill a gap in the range. It commands attention and simultaneously builds the brand.
