Background
Chás Maria Antonieta wanted to offer more than just a good tea – they aimed to present a premium selection of tea blends framed in a visual whole. The range consists of exclusive blends inspired by their signatures, skillfully chosen for the discerning consumer.
The Mission
The mission was to create a packaging series that communicates exceptional quality, refinement, and sensory experience. The products needed to stand out clearly on the shelf, signaling exclusivity, while the design also had to be practical, sustainable, and reusable.
The Solution
We designed tin containers with carefully selected shapes and finishes to evoke a sense of quality – soft edges, tight-fitting lids, and matte or slightly textured surfaces. Each flavor received its own color code and elegant typography, contrasting against the tin's background, making it easy for customers to distinguish the flavors from afar.
The design tones down decorative elements to highlight simplicity and elegance. The color and typography subtly communicate which tea it is – for example, Earl Grey or Madame du Barry – rather than dominate. The result provides a timeless, exclusive expression that both attracts and creates desire right at the shelf.
Results
Chás Maria Antonieta's tin containers have achieved a sleek and premium-focused expression. They feel substantial in hand, are beautiful to display, and work equally well as gifts or for storage. A design solution that contributes to increased showroom value, higher perceived price, and a more engaging customer experience.
