Six packages for Arabic specialties. We combined oriental graphics with modern food photography to create something that stands out across the entire category.

Oba required a private label line for Arabic specialties – sfiha, kibbeh, and falafel – that respected cultural authenticity while feeling modern and fresh. The products needed a distinct visual identity to set them apart from the rest of the range.
Målsättning
We would create a design system that celebrates Arabic heritage through patterns and graphics. The packaging would be a fusion of traditional oriental aesthetics and contemporary photography. All within the framework of Oba's existing brand guidelines.
Resultat
The packaging stands out through a compelling graphic world. Arabic patterns interact with food photography taken from above, where the products blend into the ornamentation. The typography, inspired by the traditional Islamic calligraphy pen, gives the design personality and elegance.



The arabesques and geometric patterns are more than decoration – they are a cultural language that speaks directly to the target audience. We selected a palette of warm and cool tones, with each product receiving its own accent color to highlight the variety within the series. These color accents break through the ornamentation and create focal points. Photography was crucial. By capturing ingredients and finished dishes from above, we allowed the product to integrate with the oriental pattern. This creates a captivating interplay between reality and graphic ornamentation. Oba's existing guidelines were upheld but advanced – the packaging feels rooted in tradition yet entirely modern.
