Background
Oba developed its own series of ready meals with Arabic inspiration – including kibbeh, falafel, and sfihas. The challenge was to make them feel both exciting and credible, while also being easy to understand and appealing for on-the-go consumption.
The Task
We were tasked with creating an expression that conveys taste, quality, and recognition. The series had to visually cohere while giving each dish its own character. Most importantly: it needed to sell.
The Solution
We built a design system where each package has a clear focus on food – with photos taken directly from above, close-up and honest. The form is complemented by graphic patterns that add warmth and rhythm without overpowering. The typography is simple yet characterized, inspired by handwritten calligraphy.
Everything is designed to catch the eye quickly, feel appetizing, and make a difference on the shelf. No gimmicks. Just taste and sensation, done right.
Results
Oba’s new series feels natural. It stands out in a category that is often bland, working both visually and commercially. It is design that guides, stimulates appetite, and strengthens the brand with every purchase.
