Utmaning

Maria Antonieta's tea party had limited space to operate. Yet, every detail needed to tell a captivating story. The challenge was to create a complete visual universe within very tight confines—and to make every millimeter count.

Målsättning

We would design tea tins that evoke the feel of elegant French salons and beautiful orangeries. Each tea flavor would have its own visual identity with a unique color palette and character. The packaging would become a collectible item.

Resultat

The result is a collection of jars brimming with detail and charm. Art Nouveau-inspired designs with a greenhouse theme are transformed into elegant illustrations of ingredients. Each flavor is represented by a historical figure—Queen Marie Antoinette, Princess of Lamballe, Madame Du Barry—whose portrait adorns the jar like a cameo.

We created a world where each type of tea is an invitation to an aristocratic society. The glass structures and metalwork of the orangery became the inspiration for the entire visual system—it's like opening a jar and stepping into a flowing greenhouse. The typography is refined and thoughtful, with deliberate choices of size and placement that invite the eye on a journey of discovery. The color palette is cultivated and unique to each flavor.

Each jar receives its own color scheme, collectively forming a cohesive series. The lid is designed to remind you of the dome of these beautiful greenhouses with glass and wrought iron. It is a design that encourages contemplation and attention to every detail—just as a good cup of tea should be enjoyed.
