Seven varieties of fresh pasta rooted in Italian tradition. We crafted packaging that elevates homemade meals to a luxurious experience—without losing their warmth.

Utmaning

De Marchis fresh pasta deserved packaging that matched the quality of its content. The design needed to convey a sense of craftsmanship and Italian heritage, without becoming generic or predictable. Seven different varieties required variation within a cohesive framework.

Målsättning

We aimed to create a packaging system that evokes the feeling of homemade pasta and Italian tradition. Each variant needed its own identity, yet the entire line should be perceived as a family. The design had to stand out on the shelf and communicate a sense of premium quality without feeling inaccessible.

Resultat

We developed a series of packaging that combines elegance with rustic warmth. Each variant receives its own illustration, while the craft-inspired paper and light blue accents create an instantly recognizable expression. Transparent windows allow the pasta to speak for itself.

The typographic system became an integral part of the design. The product name runs in elegant handwriting, while a textured sans-serif highlights the handcrafted nature. Striped patterns and warm, kraft-inspired tones create a rustic feel that speaks to tradition and homemade cuisine. The light blue accent color elevates the packaging to something modern and premium. The transparent window was a deliberate design choice. The pasta itself becomes the best seller – colorful varieties are visible immediately, providing the consumer with instant proof of quality. Visual hierarchy guides the eye from the product name through the illustration to the ingredient list. The information is both beautiful and easy to read. The packaging says: this is Italian craftsmanship, made with care.
