Clemens Chocolate wanted to create something more than just chocolate with a high cocoa content. They aimed to build an identity that makes the product feel worthy of giving as a gift, talking about, and paying a premium for. Our mission was to develop a packaging concept that highlights the flavor, craftsmanship, and the story behind each product.
The Mission
The goal was to create a visual expression that exudes quality and stands out. However, more importantly: to make each chocolate bar part of a larger story. A story about origin, adventure, and emotion, with Clemens symbolizing everything the brand stands for.
The Solution
We developed an illustrated packaging system where each flavor received its own chapter. Animal symbols, landscapes, and hidden references intertwine into a narrative that invites the consumer into the brand's world. The illustrations are hand-drawn and printed with subtle tactility to enhance the premium feel.
The ingredients are integrated into the design, not as lists but as visual elements. This makes each bar feel alive and unique while still being part of a coherent whole. The result is a product range that catches eyes, evokes emotions, and tells a story that lingers longer than the taste.
